<p>This has been a point of frustration for social media managers who have multiple team members updating their company social profiles.</p>
<p>Google+ will allow multiple admins to manage a brand page “before 2012,”.</p>
<p>Kristoffer Sorensen, a Google marketing strategist, said on in a live Q&amp;A on Wednesday.</p>
<p>Until two weeks ago, when Google gave select third party apps early access to the Google+ API.</p>
<p>The only solution was for a team to share one login or for one person to maintain the Google+ page alone.</p>
<p>These situations are less than ideal because they can cause security and workflow issues.</p>
<p>When the social media management tools in the pilot program integrated Google+ posting.</p>
<p>Companies not using these tools were still at a loss.</p>
<p>Even some social managers using one of the six select services with Google+ are struggling as they wait for the early Google+ API to iron out some kinks.</p>

<p>Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy Europe have teamed up with The Mobile Money Network (MMN) to integrate an instant mobile checkout, Simply Tap, into its advertising, direct marketing, website and buyer’s guide.</p>
<p>The independent retailers will promote the service with a nationwide marketing campaign on social media channels and digital banners, enabling customers to make payments via the mobile app once registered.</p>
<p>Customers will then be able to use the service on their mobile phones to order products they see anywhere by tapping a code into their mobile phone, saving them time and allowing retailers to maximise sales.</p>
<p>MMN, which has former M&amp;S CEO Sir Stuart Rose as a non executive director, says the integration work will help it learn about how real customers will change the way they shop using their mobile.</p>
<p>To maintain custom, it will offer users £10 cashback on their first purchase of a range of products from its retail partners and a selection of in app special offers.</p>
<p>Andrew Harrison, CEO of Best Buy Europe and Carphone Warehouse (pictured) said: ‘Simply Tap will provide retailers with compelling new options when it comes to marketing and selling products. For our customers.</p>
<p>it has to be all about convenience. Customers want to be able to pay for goods via any device and on any network.</p>
<p>Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy Europe are joined in this launch phase by Thorntons.</p>
<p>Goldsmiths, thehut.com, Pretty Green and moreTvicar.com. Further major retail partners that MMN is already engaged with will be announced over the coming weeks and months.</p>
<p>According to Nick Holland, senior analyst at Yankee Group, this service will enable retailers to capitalise on the fusion of physical and virtual worlds using mobile technology as a conduit.</p>
<p>John Milliken, MD of The Mobile Money Network  added, We expect to learn an enormous amount about how consumers want to use their mobiles to shop.</p>
<p>We are already developing the second version of the app where you can expect to see image recognition as a major feature.</p>

<p>The plan won’t be made public until after the board and organizations representing teachers and principals have weighed in on it, Springfield School District’s spokesman.</p>
<p>There is no indication whether the district will consider allowing social media use inside actual schools.</p>
<p>“We know that we want the district and maybe even the schools … to use social media for public engagement,”</p>
<p>The hard part is at the teacher-student level, what to allow or whether to allow any at all.</p>

<p>Google chief executive Larry Page said, The company added 100 Google+ features in its first 90 days, helping it better understand users and tailor its search results.</p>
<p>In a quarterly conference call with analysts this afternoon, Page said Google&#8217;s goal is to customize the Web for users based on what it learns from their social media experience.</p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s still incredibly early days for Google+ because our goal is actually far bigger than the individual feature launches themselves.&#8221;</p>
<p>Page said. &#8220;Our ultimate ambition is to transform the overall Google experience, making it beautifully simple, almost automagical, because we understand what you want and can deliver it instantly.&#8221;</p>
<p>Of course, that&#8217;s the point of Google+. The company was slow to appreciate the significance of social networking and the impact it could have on search.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s what Page means by automagical searches that automatically deliver results that take into account user&#8217;s interests, culled from their G+ experience.</p>
<p>&#8220;This means baking identity and sharing into all of our products so that we build a real relationship with our users.&#8221;</p>
<p>Page said. &#8220;Sharing on the web will be like sharing in real life across all your stuff.</p>
<p>You&#8217;ll have better, more relevant search results and ads.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Think about it this way,&#8221; Page said. &#8220;Last quarter, we&#8217;ve shipped the plus, and now we&#8217;re going to ship the Google part.&#8221;</p>
<p>With more than 40 million users, Google+ has enough scale to generate data that Google+ can turn into useful search signals.</p>
<p>That was the first step. Now, Page said, the company is going to work hard to bake those signals into the overall Google experience.</p>

Not too long ago, rumors abounded that Facebook was hacked in Tunisia. Then people suggested there was an XSS hack on Facebook in which some users noted a status update from &#8220;Roy Castillo&#8221; in their newsfeed even though they were not Facebook friends. Plus Friday is Data Privacy Day which is an international plan by many groups to promote awareness of the importance of controlling one&#8217;s personal information. So, Facebook has rolled out two new features for security.</p>
<p>Facebook Social Authentication Login and Facebook HTTPS Login! The Social one lets users be verified rather than just <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAPTCHA" target="_blank">CAPTCHAS</a> featire. Using the Social Login choice, users will see some pictures of their friends. A question for the user to name the person in the images will be asked.<img class="alignright size-full wp-image-12910" style="margin: 15px;" title="facebook_security_settings" src="http://www.techistan.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/facebook_security_settings.jpg" alt="facebook security settings techistan" width="300" height="130" /></p>
<p>A problem with this one is many users of Facebook would not be able to match the name of a person with their picture for a few reasons. Some people are less visual than others and will remember more what people say than what they look. Second, others have thousands of friends who they could never match name to face &#8230; like casual acquaintances that they occasionally read or chat with.</p>
<p>The HTTPS security choice for logging in is an alternative to HTTP. HTTPS simply means some technology such as <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Socket_Layer" target="_blank">Secure Socket Layer</a> is at work behind the scenes. Users can choose how to do this via the &#8220;Account Security&#8221; section of the Account Settings section, accessible right now in the upper right-hand area of Facebook pages.</p>
<p>It could be a necessity when using public Internet access points found at coffee shops, airports, libraries or schools.<br />
As the Facebook blog notes, &#8220;Encrypted pages take longer to load, so you may notice that Facebook is slower using HTTPS. In addition, some Facebook features, including many third-party applications, are not currently supported in HTTPS. We&#8217;ll be working hard to resolve these remaining issues. We are rolling this out slowly over the next few weeks, but you will be able to turn this feature on in your Account Settings soon. We hope to offer HTTPS as a default whenever you are using Facebook sometime in the future.&#8221;</p>

<p>In this video, I&#8217;ll show you how to use <a href="http://www.ip-pabx.com">ip-pabx</a> extension on your Nimbuzz.</p>
<p>If you already have <a href="http://www.nimbuzz.com">Nimbuzz</a> installed on your phone then you can just tab to &#8220;settings&#8221; and then to &#8220;SIP Providers.&#8221; If you dont have Nimbuzz in your handset, go to http://m.nimbuzz.com and from there, download Nimbuzz to your phone. Then, set up your account.</p>
<p>After setting up your Nimbuzz, go to options&#8217; &#8220;settings&#8221; and then &#8220;SIP providers&#8221;.</p>
<p>See me add &#8220;Other&#8221; SIP provider.</p>
<p>I need to add my own account that is my ip-pabx extension or it may be a superphone number &#8220;ip-pabx.com&#8221; and my extension like 101064. Then you add ip-pabx.com;8891 in the &#8220;proxy server.&#8221;</p>
<p>After entering the password and proxy server, click save and then the Nimbuzz will say &#8220;Account successfully activated.&#8221; Click &#8220;ok&#8221; and here it is  &#8230; your very own Nimbuzz.</p>

<p>So these are the procedures, how you can use Nimbuzz and in the same way you can use your ip-pabx extensions or SIP phone numbers. If you want to make outgoing calls, international calls using your ip-pabx account with your Nimbuzz, just tab to &#8220;voip to voip&#8221; settings and select &#8220;SIP.&#8221; By default, it&#8217;s Nimbuzz out. Just need to change it to &#8220;SIP provider,&#8221; and then you&#8217;ll be able to make outgoing calls using your ip-pabx account. </p>
