Scent over Internet, smell over Internet, odor over Internet… seems scent over Internet has the best connotations, and the topic is hot in 2010. Listen to software developer, Alberto Betella on the podcast interview* Techistan shares. Alberto explains… not such a silly idea.
According to Encyclopedia.com and a Business Wire from February 27, 2001, Trisenx, Inc. (www.trisenx.com) was the first company to deliver fragrances AND flavors electronically. They demonstrated how to sample scents and aromas over the Internet at the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association (CTFA) Annual Meeting March 1-4, 2001 in Boca Raton, FL.
