Three point seven million lines per year are lost by both Verizon and AT&T? To whom? VoIP-hosted companies?

Dr. Emmett Brown: There’s that word again; “heavy”. Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the earth’s gravitational pull?

Rob Adler adds, “All these CLECs ride along the Verizon or AT&T copper lines. If AT&T and Verizon get out of the copper line business, these guys do not have anyone to maintain their wires because they are not IP.”

Milton Baines: What do you mean, you’ve seen this? It’s brand new.

Hosted IP vendors such as Fonica, JKL5Group, Brekeke, Comtel-Networks, Artisit PBX, VirtualPBX, and PortaOne are filling in the gap. Humberto declared that we are going “back to the future” to 1996.
