ViewSonic has announced the launch of its latest ‘value’ tablet device, the ViewPad 10e.

The 9.7-inch ViewPad 10e features a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor and 4GB of built-in memory that can be expanded by an additional 32GB via the Micro SD slot.

The device measures only 9.1mm thin and weighs only 620g.

The tablet also comes pre-installed with Amazon Kindle, which provides consumers with immediate access to 700k+ books, magazines and newspapers, and boasts Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The Mini HDMI connector offers a display output of up to 720p resolution.

The manufacturer says the tablet is aimed at value conscious consumers who want  a superior display experience combined with Android technology.

Meanwhile, the manufacturer has also included a marketplace application that allows access to extra applications and games.

Consumers can also use the customisable 3D-style user interface to maximise IPS panel technology.

ViewScene offers 16 customisable panels, intelligent interactive grouping, 3D style-widgets and multiple time zone support.

The ViewPad 10e will be released in the UK from the beginning of November. Pricing will be available at the time of launch.
