Aimed for future mobile gadgets of the slimmest kind, OmniVision OV8850 is made with 1.1-micron technology, unlike the previous generation’s 1.4-micron. The new sensor from Apple’s chief camera module supplier still allows for a full field of view in 1080p/30fps mode, and can handle HD 720p capture with 60 fps.
