Karachi –Wednesday, March 30, 2011:

8th ITIF Asia 2011 Int’l Exhibition & Conference successfully concluded at Karachi Expo Centre.  The Event was inaugurated by Sindh Minister for Environment and Alternative Energy Sheikh Muhammad Afzal; CEO AEDB, Arif Alauddin; Dr. Graeme Towers, Group CEO Wellbeinggreen, Australia and President Ecommerce Gateway, Dr. Khursheed Nizam were also present at the occasion.

The Event further incorporated 5^th Power & Alternative Energy Asia, 7^th Auto & Transport Asia, 8^th Engineering Asia and 7^th Oil & Gas Asia.

There were more than 210 stalls in the Exhibition where 86 international & domestic exhibitors showcased their products and services. Over 51 foreign delegates also graced the event from 13 countries including Australia, Turkey, Canada, Germany, India, UAE, UK, etc. Presence of more than 36,756 trade/corporate visitors were noted during the Event.

The Event was organized by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. with the support of Alternative Energy Development Board; Federal Ministries of Water & Power; Petroleum & Natural Resources; Ministry of Environment & Alternative Energy, Government of Sindh and Engineering Development Board.

Wellbeinggreen Pvt. Ltd was the Platinum Sponsor of this Event whereas other prominent participants of the Exhibition were AGECO, CERES Gulf; Orient Energy Systems; KK Power International; ELTEK Valiere; Karakoram Motors; Stahlco Motors; Sazgar; Agility, etc.

5^th Int’l Conference on Alternative Energy & Power- ICAEP was also held on the first day in conjunction with the Exhibition, focusing on the “INITIATIVE, INNOVATION & INVESTMENT – A Roadmap to Smart Future.

ITIF Asia is the only UFI approved Event of Trade sector in Pakistan. ITIF Asia has always provided the stakeholders an effective platform with a single marketplace where local and international manufacturers can display their latest products in technology and design, establish new contacts, renew old ties and exchange ideas. The 9^th ITIF Asia will be held from 3-5 April 2012.
