The Green Façade, Green Wall, a project by LICO Consulting based in Hungary, solves the problem of disharmony between built and natural environments, to considerably improve the microclimatic characteristics of a housing area and revere the negative environmental & social trends of the urbanization processes.
The naturally grown plantation designed to spread equally across a structure, improves the efficiency of the walls and roofs, minimizing the heat effect and thereby saving energy consumption, while performing the most eye-catching function of beautification, converting the building to resemble a luscious green mound from the green ages.
Due the improving life conditions, the product has a great potential to facilitate the reversion of the negative trends of social migration into/from high density downtown area and housing estates with large block houses (slum process) while decreasing the overall temperature if deployed on large scale.
Such a project also gives a wonderful opportunity for organizations aiming for a socially responsible and greener image. A great idea for the head office!
