Morelli helped set up the network of Italy’s second largest mobile company Omnitel which was acquired by Vodafone. The power of mobile anything has always been Alessandro’s passion.

The MVNO expert discusses some history of mobile in Italy and Europe. The subject then changes to IT + TLC (Telecomunicazioni) = ICT, noting the difference between IBM and Microsoft and companies who offer wired line or mobile infrastructure with voice and data. Alessandro discusses vertical market opportunities for MVNOs and the difference between traditional styles of customer service and the new web 2.0 expectations.
