Social Media is the marketing tool of the 21st century. You can use social media to introduce your company, create new customers and retain existing ones. Through social media marketing one can obtain customer feedback and improve product and service quality accordingly.

Social Media enables your customer to tell you whether they are satisfied with your service or product or not. You can obtain opinions, comments and suggestions via polls and other tools from customers around the world. You rea less bound to any borders than in the physical world. Social media gives you new opportunities to create and communicate with people who care.

STEPS TO SOCIAL MEDIA SUCCESS:

  1. Find interested people – Try to seek out people who may be interested in what you are offering.

  2. Deliver content – Give them as much as information as possible.

  3. Capture their information and interact with their expertise – Obtain their suggestions, comments and ideas.

  4. Stay in touch – Staying in touch will eventually result in sale.

Social media is a tool to develop relationships;  it is a platform whereby you can create your own customers and stay in tune to their needs. Currently, there are 335 million users on Facebook, 35 million on LinkedIn and nearly 50 million users on Twitter. That is no small population.

  2. Increases referrals or decreases depending again, on how you use it

  3. Creates new relationships

  4. May increase the value of your services

  5. Gives you outstanding visibility or poor depending on how you use it

  7. Builds trust or distrust depending on how you use it

  8. You can promote your products and services any way you always wanted and dreamed just about

  9. It forces you to be more creative
