Sarah Dawood, GM, and Neil Christy, CEO of Cafe Headlion and the Headlion Group share the roaring success and it’s all because of social networking. Facebook has been a real international gathering place of movers and shakers from Karachi, Pakistan and the globe. In fact, that is what Cafe Headlion attracts: movers and shakers and potential movers and shakers.
We met Cafe Headlion through Facebook in fact, when I noticed the really cool, catchy, real (not fake feeling), sometimes thought-provoking updates on Neil Christy’s profile. It’s been easy to become friends by sharing information and helping each other with our business and just life in general.
Listen to the history of Cafe Headlion and how people can participate all over the world. Look for the group to be showcased not only so successfully on Facebook but also on Paki.com!
“Food for thought”… even the food is inspiring at Cafe Headlion. It’s all about learning, feeling and immersion in branding in a way that just surrounds you naturally.
Neil discusses how Facebook is a method to create one’s brand. to share one’s emotions, goals, wishes, business, family, friends, and more. Cafe Headlion creates a picture in people’s minds as they enter the virtual cafe on Facebook or the physical cafe in Karachi. I love the reference to two different markets: one the Godfather sophisticated type and the other the Austin Power’s younger generation feel.
As always, you can count on Sarah and Neil to propose some interesting items to ponder such as the fact that normally branding and advertising companies hamper interaction between themselves and those they serve, their clients. Sarah and Neil’s group do the oppposite. Visit the Cafe Headlion and the School of Cafe Headlion and interact virtually or in person on Facebook or in Karachi.
We end with a discussion of the popularity of Paki.com which is much like Facebook but specifically targeted to Pakistanis. More Pakistanis are using Paki.com than are using Facebook.com.
Can you hear me now? ;-) We had a short electricity outage which stopped this interview temporarily, but no problem. Go to the Part 2 of Sarah Dawood and Neil Christy Cafe Headlion, Food for Thought, Godfather, Austin Powers
